Punch List
Created 19 Aug 2025
  1. Refraining from supporting chain locations for common purchases- instead shifting to local and family-owned to reduce large sources of waste
  2. Reduce buying items from stores which could be made at home for less money and less spending/waste overall (i.e. making muffins instead of buying plastic packaged mass-produced muffins)
  3. Turning off electricity sources when away from home or outside of the room they function in
  4. Shifting to opening windows for airflow and light during the day when home to reduce power usage
  5. Eliminating unnecessary items and minimizing overconsumption of rarely used tools in the household (i.e. not buying another knife set just because they look nice when your old one works perfectly well)
  6. Save cardboard and plastic packaging from deliveries/purchases and deposit them to proper recycing sites (connecting to accredited companies with attached businesses using the recycled material)
  7. Driving only when necessary, instead of out of convenience (i.e. a five-minute drive could be walked or biked if physically able)
  8. Connect with state boards/panels to discuss ways your person could specifically aid environmental regeneration/support
  9. Intentionally researching scientifically proven climate information to inform yourself, as well as sharing it with others to influence change- including state officials
  10. Supporting local farms and pastures rather than corporate organizations which harm and mass produce animal and organic products

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
