- Stay up to date on climate solutions and action. Find a climate podcast weekly or listen to a nonfiction climate book yearly.
- Opt for reusable mugs, containers and bags. ex. Use my own mug at when getting coffee.
- Engage with a local climate action group for systemic change and call representatives. Ex. calling representatives to oppose the bill to allow mining near the boundary waters.
- Buy all clothing second hand (unless the item is an absolute necessity and cannon be purchased second hand). Start with clothing, than move to other items (camping gear, home items, ect.)
- Reduce my food waste. Practice taking smaller portions and eating it all. Compost or reuse any leftovers.
A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city. It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
