I am a multimedia storyteller and educator whose personal mission is rooted in creating regenerative communities and ecosystems through localized, collaborative, and interdisciplinary efforts. My background expresses my deep passion for learning about and driving meaningful change at the intersection of environmental and social justice, with past work spanning from teaching and researching to mediamaking and campaign organizing.
Key topics of interest include environmental anthropology and social justice, food sovereignty and agroecological land practices, experiential learning and redefining expertise, and holistic wellness and eco-cultural regeneration.
The following questions are pivotal thoughts in my mind and key drivers of my heart:
• What pathways exist for rerooting ourselves in local landscapes and becoming reciprocal members of ecological communities while protecting cultural and biological diversity?
• How do the concepts of relation, reciprocity, and regeneration play out for both humans and more-than-humans within our natural world?
My drive to make a difference stems from imagining and inspiring a healing pathway forward – to counter the rampant anxiety and helplessness with deepened consideration of the care and beauty, purpose and opportunity, joy and resilience that remain for us.
