Punch List

  1. Reduce waste by recycling everything possible. Reducing my consumption by limiting what I buy to only things I need. Reuse things by fixing them instead of buying something new.
  2. Reduce water usage by limiting the loads of laundry I do, time showering, or washing dishes (turning off the water when I do not need it).
  3. Switch to solar energy so I am not using non renewable energy. Even with this, working to conserve energy by turning off unnecessary lights and unplugging items when they are not in use.
  4. Reducing my use of single use plastics. I have already cut down quite a bit of this, but I would like to eliminate this all together, especially when it comes to drive through cups.
  5. I would also like to raise awareness about environmental issues. Even if this is just through my family and peers, word of mouth goes a long way. I think education is very important when it comes to environmental issues, and a lot of people just do not know better.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
