Punch List
Created 10 Dec 2025
  1. Plant more native and pollinator-friendly plants in my neighborhood and support community gardening or tree-planting projects.
  2. Eat less beef and avoid products linked to tropical deforestation, like unsustainable palm oil, whenever I can.
  3. Cut down on single-use plastics by carrying a reusable bag, water bottle, and containers when I go out.
  4. Support beaver conservation by sharing accurate info about why beavers help ecosystems and following groups that protect them.
  5. Learn more about fungi and join a local mushroom walk or citizen-science project when I get the chance.
  6. Choose electric public transit or shared rides when possible and support policies that make electric vehicles more affordable.
  7. educe my own electricity use at home and speak up in favor of wind and other renewable energy projects.
  8. Be more mindful about water and pollution, properly dispose of trash, and join a coastal or river cleanup if I can.
  9. Share positive, accurate information about migrants and refugees and support local groups that help people displaced by climate impacts.
  10. Support girls’ education by sharing resources, signing petitions, and, in the future, considering mentoring or tutoring girls who need extra academic help.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
