Punch List

  1. Avoid buying any clothing items that are not absolutely necessary. Try to max out at 7 new items per year.
  2. Eat vegetarian meals 5/7 days per week.
  3. Donate a percentage of my future salary to organizations I am passionate about.
  4. Make coffee & cook food at home as often as possible or bring reusable containers to avoid single-use plastics.
  5. Use my leadership positions to boost the voices of people from traditionally underrepresented groups in my communities.
  6. Plan out my meals at the beginning of each week to avoid food waste.
  7. Engage with nature at least twice a week and encourage others to do the same.
  8. Unless unavailable or unsafe, walk or use public transportation for 95% of trips.
  9. Avoid purchasing products from companies known for particularly harmful environmental or social policies.
  10. Leave all places better than I found them (and leave no trace) when exploring the outdoors.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
