- Walking places or riding a bike that are within a reasonable distance instead of driving my car.
- Switching from gas to electric whether that be a stove, car, water heaters, etc.
- Recycling properly.
- Using reusable things like water bottles, grocery bags, clothes, containers, etc.
- Instead of driving separately to events, carpool instead.
- Try to eat more vegetables instead of meat. Maybe pick 1-2 days out of the week to avoid eating meat and eating plant-based meals.
- Vote for candidates who care about the world and its climate.
- Buy products or services from companies that are eco-friendly.
- Take shorter showers to save clean, fresh water.
- Buy e-books instead of paper copies to save trees!
A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city. It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
