  1. Plastics (Challenges) CTA: Phase out plastic by reducing demand for it, replacing it with alternative materials, and holding plastic pollutors accountable. This solution calls to me due to the normalization and mass production of plastics in our environment. Plastics don’t break down, therefore the production must decrease in order for a turnaround. https://www.epa.gov/plastics/what-you-can-do-reduce-plastic-waste
  2. Ultra-processed foods (Challenges) CTA: Eliminate ultra-processed foods from our diets and pressure their manufacturers to stop making and marketing these unhealthy products. This solution calls to me due to my personal experience with ultra-processed foods. We consume these products for satisfaction, however, the detrimental effect and consequences that it has on our bodies and environment is massive. These foods promote a threat to health, driving metabolic diseases, as well as obesity. https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/eat-well/how-to-eat-a-balanced-diet/what-are-processed-foods/
  3. Efficiency (Energy) CTA: Cut energy and materials used reduce emissions, stabilize the climate, improve quality of life, and benefit economies and ecosystems. This solution calls out to me due to my energy usage. I have a lot of technology that is not sustainable for the environment. Being able effectively reduce energy demand and switch to more enhanced technology that uses less energy would prove to be beneficial.
  4. Solar (Energy) Rapidly expand the use of solar energy as the primary source of electricity. This solution stood out to me because solar power is gradually starting to popularize and get normalized in households and company buildings. My household currently relies on solar energy.
  5. Nature Connection (People) CTA: Restore human connections with nature to improve our well-being, regenerate planetary ecosystem, and cultivate regenerative values and practices. This solution called out to me because as we further develop technology, our connection with nature has diminished, and we are neglecting its needs. Being able to regenerate the human relationship to nature can have great benefits for human health.
  6. Compassion (People) CTA: Cultivate compassion across all levels in consciousnesses and human relationships needed to address the planetary emergency. This solution stands out to me because community and compassion is strength in regards to climate change. I want to be kind to the community, and to the environment to effectively combat these negative effects.
  7. Cooperatives (People) CTA: Create and join cooperative associations to support local communities, boost social and financial equity, provide jobs, and inspire regenerative values and policies. This solution stands out to me because of the accessibility of supporting organizations. I think it is something that is effective and a good community building opportunity. In supporting or joining these projects, it can build up funds for supporting the climate, and can create opportunities for spreading awareness.
  8. Women and Food (Food) CTA: Empower women to be leaders in their households, communities, and governments as as essential strategy fir building regenerative food systems. This solution stands out to me because gender equity increases resilience in the community. As a woman, I am willing to empower and use my voice to spread awareness and advocate for gender diverse farmers.
  9. Wasting Nothing (Food) CTA: Eliminate 80 percent of food waste to feed more people using fewer resources on less land. This solution stands out to me because wasted food is a massive loss all along the supply chain. I can personally prevent food waste in my life by being wary of my portions, and being sustainable.
  10. Compost (Food) CTA: Seperate and compost organic materials to reduce the strain on landfills, reduce methane emissikns, regenerate soil, and grow healthy food. This solution stands out to me because composting has been practiced by indigenous communities. It can help improve soil and plant health, which can overall benefit the well being of life. I am interested in participating in composting to further restore our environment.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
