  1. Reduce the amount of meat we are eating by implementing "Meatless Mondays".
  2. Reduce food waste by 50% and when feasible , compost organic waste.
  3. Drive less! Focus on public transportation when available. Walk or ride a bike when able.
  4. Reduce air travel. Eliminate a minimum of 2 trips per year by either using Zoom, or combining trips.
  5. Solar! Move to solar for home power by 2025.
  6. Electrify. Move to heat pumps for AC/heating and water heating by 2025. Replace appliances with electric alternatives as they need to be replaced.
  7. Use Smart Tech. - Smart Strips to manage electricity when not in use. - Programmable thermostats. - LED light bulbs.
  8. Water Efficient Fixtures. Less water used means less energy spent heating.
  9. Politics. Consider a political candidates stance on climate the need for aggressive change. Be involved!
  10. Wash clothes in cold water. Hang dry when you can. Use dryer balls when you can’t.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
