  1. Eat Locally: Support local farmers and reduce transportation emissions by consuming locally sourced food.
  2. Choose Seasonal Produce: Opt for fruits and vegetables that are in season to minimize energy-intensive processes like refrigeration and transportation.
  3. Minimize Food Waste: Plan meals carefully, store food properly, and compost organic waste to minimize the amount of food that ends up in landfills, where it produces methane, a greenhouse gas.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
