Punch List

  1. Choose walking, cycling, or public transportation for daily commutes and short trips rather than driving. Use car-sharing services if needed for longer journeys.
  2. Provide feedback to local government and planners about needed improvements in walking and cycling infrastructure, public amenities, and community services.
  3. Support local businesses and use neighbourhood services for grocery shopping, dining, and other needs instead of traveling to distant locations.
  4. Get involved in local environmental initiatives such as tree planting, clean-up drives, or conservation projects.
  5. Take part in local events, volunteer opportunities, and neighbourhood gatherings to develop a sense of community and improve social connections.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
