  1. upport agroecology by buying directly from farmers and ranchers who practice regenerative agriculture or from retailers who support them.
  2. Grow a forest garden or food forest at home. Grow a vegetable/herb garden.
  3. Purchase toilet paper made from recycled content or alternative fibers like bamboo. Use reusable cloth instead of paper towels. Reduce paper mail, bags, and boxes.
  4. If you must buy new, buy natural fiber clothing. Buy second hand clothing when possible.
  5. Support local businesses
  6. Buy your food from underrepresented farmers.
  7. Become a Master Naturalist with an emphasis on grassland and savannah ecology and restoration.
  8. When we buy another car, upgrade to electric.
  9. Convert green space into natural habitat for insects.Reduce or eliminate pesticides and herbicides around your home. Leave stumps, logs, old trees, and dead leaves alone so they can become a home for insects. Promote wildflower verges and plant milkweeds for monarch butterflies.
  10. Reduce food waste at home.
  11. Start a home or community compost bin.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
