- Decentralize consumption of any kind - whether that is buying upcycled clothing from a local business or produce from a farmers market. Focus on localization.
- Use water purposefully and consciously - take less than 10 minute showers and drink 90 ounces of water a day
- Consistent with turning off heater when leaving room - conserve energy despite winter chill
- Consume product substitutes that have a lower water intake (ex. Alternative milk, alternative clothing material)
- Subscribe to social justice campaigns, articles, and foundations and stay educated on involvement (ex. NAACP, Color of Change)
- Purchase food products from regenerative companies such as Too Good Too Go, to join the movement against food waste
- Research big brand, profit maximizing companies that are harmful to the environment and eliminate any and all investment, participation and consumption
- Exclusively purchase hair/skin/beauty products free of animal cruelty and harmful chemicals that pollute the oceans
- Become involved in city regeneration (The Canopy Project, Future Forest NYC)
- Continue to be educated and engaged in social, economic, political, and environmental issues.

It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
