  1. Replace gas furnace with a heat pump.
  2. Buy high-quality carbon offsets (additional carbon capture) to 2:1 offset air travel
  3. Replace one car with an electric cargo bike. Use it regularly for local errands.
  4. Participate in citizen science with The Land Institute. Host test plots where neighbors can see them, and post educational placards.
  5. Use electric rental cars when travelling
  6. Buy no new clothing for adults in the household for the next year. Only buy new kids clothing if it is strictly necessary and cannot be found used.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
