  1. Internationally/nationally protect the habitats, watersheds, and ecosystems of keystone species.
  2. Implement legislation/regulations that heavily restrict/ban logging, mining, and oil extraction.
  3. Where space is available, implement afforestation practices.
  4. Encourage interaction between the government, environmental agencies, and indigenous communities to regenerate certain plant species with fires.
  5. Outlaw slash-and-burn methods of harvesting timber.
  6. Restrict/ban certain pesticides/herbicides.
  7. Limit transportation via motor vehicles that emit copious amounts of carbon.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
