- I’ll add more plant-based meals to my weekly routine, aiming for at least a few days a week without meat. I’ll try new recipes and keep track of what works best for me.
- I’ll cut down on car use by biking, walking, or taking public transit for short trips whenever possible. By the end of the semester, I want this to become a regular habit.
- I’ll be more mindful of energy use by switching to LED bulbs, unplugging devices when not in use, and adjusting my thermostat slightly to save power. I’ll keep an eye on my family's energy bill to see the difference.
- I’ll switch to reusable alternatives for things like water bottles, grocery bags, and coffee cups. By the end of the semester, I want this to be a habit so I’m consistently reducing waste.
- I will advocate for increased renewable energy adoption at my university by attending at least two student government meetings by April 2025 and advocating for a pre established proposal for increased campus solar installations by the end of the semester.
A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city. It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
