- Regenerate my worm farm (which I have neglected for years) so that in the Spring there will be worm wee and castings for the vegetable garden.
- Stop buying meat in plastic by doing meat shopping at the butcher and taking our own containers.
- Reduce meat consumption to one red meat meal per week.
- Investigate the bulk wholefoods store in town with the intention of reducing amount of dry goods purchased in plastic packaging.
- This Spring and Summer, plant medicinal herb garden, plant more heirloom vegetable varieties, more beans for drying and storing, sunflowers for seeds for chickens. Create perennial food forest space and plant berries and edible flowers, and spread mycelium in the vegetable garden and other suitable spaces to increase yield of mushrooms for addition to diet.
