Punch List

  1. Create an easy and fun way for people to make sure they throw recyclables in the recycling and waste in the trash bin.
  2. Create an organization that goes around working in creeks, rivers, ponds, etc. to help keep any kind of waste from polluting the water.
  3. Look for a way to get people to use less fossil fuels and convert to solar power and electric vehicles.
  4. Get people around the community to cut back on meat and dairy consumption. Try plant based diets instead.
  5. Create a place for people to learn about climate change, the best way to get people to help is to inform them.
  6. Grow your own food, start a community garden with friends and neighbors. Reduce the emissions from fertilization from fields and reduce plastic packaging.
  7. Look to reuse any type of clothing, reframe from discarding of unused clothes. Someone is in need and will greatly appreciate any clothes, secondhand or not. Reuse and recycle, don't discard.
  8. Create a large campaign to help vote and encourage local and state Governments to reduce emissions and work towards climate planning.
  9. Set up a rain water collection system to gather water for gardening and other uses.
  10. Get involved in any community climate change groups. Look to help expand and educate others.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
