Punch List
Created 16 Feb 2023
  1. Reduce my consumption of (red) meat to maximum 4 meals/week, starting now. But if the meal is already cooked, imma eat it.
  2. Initiate conversations about the climate with people of all kinds, especially skeptics, and try to find common ground.
  3. Cut down on my use of plastc by half before June 2023.
  4. Join a peaceful environmental protest and an organization to support change in the community.
  5. Pick up garbage twice a week with tweezers as part of a Clean Walk or by myself.
  6. Limit buying/consuming what I don't need and single use products (toilet paper, plastic bags, tissues), repairing and buying and selling second hand (clothes, electronics, books).
  7. Keep using public transport and limiting plane rides to 5 per year.
  8. Recycling. Keep doing it, especially when it's annoying, and encourage others to do the same.
  9. Short, cold showers, and only if I need it (not everyday).
  10. Make a song and video about the planet. Tell a story, and make it hopeful.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
