  1. Reduce single-use plastics: By using reusable bags, bottles, and utensils, I can reduce plastic waste that harms ecosystems, wildlife, and pollutes our oceans which is extremely important to take into consideration when using single-use plastics.
  2. Conserve water: Conserving water helps to preserve this resource. Simple steps like fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, turn off running water while brushing my teeth, and using efficient appliances can make a big difference that helps ensure there’s enough clean water for everyone and protects aquatic ecosystems as well.
  3. Support Sustainable Agriculture: By choosing organic and locally sources food reduces the use of harmful chemicals, supports biodiversity, and promotes healthier soil and ecosystems.
  4. Promote Renewable Energy: Transitioning to renewable energy sources like solar and wind power reduces reliance on fossil fuels and also lowers greenhouse gas emissions.
  5. Sustainable Transportation: I can walk, bike, carpool, or use public transportation in order to reduce carbon emissions that gets released into the air through driving cars and promotes a healthier lifestyle.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
