  1. End the Moratorium on Renewable Energy. Focus on building a clean, resilient, and affordable electricity grid with decentralized generation and energy storage.
  2. Build high efficiency non-market homes and drive down the cost of housing.
  3. Invest in high quality affordable public transit inside and between cities including high speed rail from Edmonton to Calgary.
  4. Bring back the carbon tax to Alberta so that we can decide what to focus the funds on. Make polluters pay for methane and carbon emissions and to clean up orphan wells and polluted waters.
  5. Increase taxes on the extremely rich and support the working class with a universal basic income that is indexed with inflation.
  6. Retrofit all homes with heat pumps and build thermal district energy systems in urban districts to eliminate fossil fuels for space heating.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
