- I plan to transition to renewable energy system since fossil fuels are responsible for 75% of gas emissions, moving to solar can cut down on household emissions by 80% annually; I will install solar panels at my own home and 75% in residential/commercial buildings by 2030 to help reduce the use of energy.
- Turning 50% of agricultural land for renewable practices: this can help by reducing 2.5 inches of topsoil every decade plus it will improve soil health and sequester 10 tons of CO2 per acre annually.
- Make a repair center for electronics so they will have a longer life spam: make policy of 75% of recycled materials be used for manufacturing. This will help life spam of electronics/appliances to 2 extra years by using 50 million tons of the e-waste.
- I will limit myself with how much water I use, by 2030 I hope it can decrease 40 gallons per/person and use different systems such as low-flow fixtures or rainwater harvesting systems. This will help cut down on 50% usage and 16 billion gallons of water (annually).
- Make an environment education programs in all high schools and to make them a requirement to graduate. This will help improve the world since only 35% of students are educated on sustainability.
A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city. It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
