  1. Start eating a more plant-based diet by gradually filtering out meats and replacing them with plant-based alternatives.
  2. Avoid using plastic containers; opt for reusable metal or glass options instead to reduce microplastics.
  3. Stop supporting fast fashion brands. Begin thrifting or purchasing from environmentally responsible and climate-friendly producers.
  4. Limit screen time by avoiding the use of phone or other technology for entertainment. Instead, engage in activities like reading, hiking, or creative hobbies. Aim to keep daily screen time under 1-1.5 hours.
  5. Sell or donate clothes no longer worn to reduce clutter and support circular fashion practices.
  6. Actively participate in local environmental initiatives, such as tree planting events or community clean-ups.
  7. When grabbing coffee, choose to enjoy it in-house using a reusable cup rather than getting it to-go in disposable packaging.
  8. Reconnect with nature through activities like hiking, outdoor yoga, and meditation to have a deeper appreciation for the environment.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
