  1. Cook at Home: Prepare meals from scratch using whole ingredients. This gives you control over what goes into your food and reduces reliance on processed products.
  2. Shop the Perimeter: In supermarkets, the fresh produce, meat, and dairy sections are typically around the perimeter. Focus your shopping there to avoid processed aisles in the center.
  3. Limit Convenience Foods: Convenience foods like frozen meals, pre-packaged snacks, and fast food tend to be highly processed. Try to minimize these items in your diet and reserve them for occasional treats.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
