  1. Rooftop solar panels reduce CO2 emissions by harnessing renewable energy, which lowers household energy costs and minimizes reliance on fossil fuels. Promoting community solar helps make this technology accessible to more people.
  2. Composting kitchen and yard waste reduces landfill contributions and creates nutrient-rich soil. Planting cover crops improves soil health, and prevents erosion
  3. Monthly workshops provide actionable knowledge on sustainability, such as reducing energy use, composting, and recycling. Education empowers people to make impactful changes in their daily lives.
  4. Walking or biking for short trips reduces fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Ensuring improved public transit makes sustainable transportation more accessible for everyone.
  5. Reducing single-use plastics cuts waste in landfills and oceans. Composting food scraps transforms organic waste into valuable soil amendments, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.

A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city.  It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
