- Purchase 2x carbon offsets for car travel and 3x for air travel during the year
- Reduce plastic use by utilizing zero-waste store
- Purchase environmentally-minded products (i.e. recycled/bamboo toilet paper, rainforest alliance/fair trade coffee, MSC certified seafood)
- Try to source dairy products from local farms/producers when possible
- Bike commute when possible (gym, work, etc.) or use public transportation
- Transition from current banks to a credit union/environmentally focused bank and seek out socially and environmentally responsible options for saving / planning for retirement
- Buy as much of my food as possible from local regenerative farms through CSAs or farmer’s markets and buy organic whenever possible
- Minimize electricity consumption in my home by turning off large power consumers like TVs, monitors, lights, and appliances when not in use. Turn down heater settings in winter when possible.
- Replace one currrent car with an EV (2022 or 23?)
- Donate or volunteer with an environmental charity/organization
- Plant a pollinator garden
A punch list can be for an individual, family, community, company, or city. It is the list of the actions you or a group will undertake and accomplish over a predetermined span of time—one month, one year, five years, or more. You can make different lists for different time periods—this week and this year for example.
